Comments: It is my prayer and hope that someday our society, social services and the court system may actually work to protect our most precious resource, the children. The system currently protects the accuser with immunities and protection from disclosure as well as confidentiality. The system currently protects the social worker and therapist from thier own negligence with immunities. The system gives the judge discretion and immunity from negligent decisions based on convenience, for the court. Evidence can be preserved, impartial and tangible. Once a court intervenes all evidence is essential and must be preserved not for the accused, or the accuser, but so that the courts may make decisions based on real evidence and facts and not hearsay, presumption, report, or expert opinion. Until then the Internet may be one of the most significant factors in presenting these issues and building awareness of the needs our children have and their right to society's protection and respect for children and a child's right to the many wonders and positive experiences of childhood. The rights of all children to learn and grow while experiencing the wonder and joy of life is also an important need for any civilized society to be motivated to encourage and protect and secure its own future.

Comments: I need to say this is the most courageous and well put together site I've seen. Your wife should be commended for her support in finding your mom again. I am so greatful to see sucha strong survivor. Gives me hope. My husband and I where abused. His story is alot like yours but he's not felt the courage to find his adopted out brother and sister. about 3 yrs ago he did reunite with his dad who helped place alot of lost memory of abuse. I have to go now but have so much more to read on your site. I mean I really am greatful to see a man so willing to admit and open their eyes and be able to recognize abuse and want to stop the cycle. It's funny how when you look back you wonder how alot of others didnt see it. It's also funny cause I was looking up survivors and found your site it interested me cause I collect wolf calenders and own a siberian huskey that looks like a wolf and My great great grandma was full indian. Cherokee I was told I used to have a picture of her but have no idea where it went. She married a french man. thats how I got my name my mom said Shawna is indian and Cherie' is french. but anyhow I shake your hand at the journey you've taken. It screams out courage.
