| Comments: Later. I have read your story and it took such amazing courage to survive it and then tell it. I admire you for that.
I am not at that stage -- am not at any stage right now. My memories didn't start to surface until 5-6 years ago (I am now 52) and I will not let them surface (I'm big in denial!!), when I can, as I have no one to help me with either the incest (including DID) or a complex physical problems like OA, FMS, CFS, MFP, etc.
I am a very strong person and that is probably a hindrance to. I write poetry when I feel I call, but then I wonder why I bother and then stop again. I also want to do other 'writings.
We have some things in common and I will try to learn from your example.

As a child I was heavily into the Jack London books and fantasies about the great white north and the wolves and the native peoples (Indians and Eskimos/Inuit). One is about the wolf pack who were my friends and in the severest part of the winter they'd come visit. After they'd eaten their fill they'd lie in front of the fireplace and nap while a blizzard howled outside. After a bit the air would fill with the odor of unwashed, dank fur. They'd stare into the fire soaking up its radiant heat. In the soft, glow of the fireplace their eyes would shimmer a piercing red and their saliva would drool a delicate pink. A few years ago I had a black german shephard whose stance and look was exactly that of the wolf on your home page (50% cower and 50% go for your throat). The former owner called her Shadow. I called her Enya.

I can tell you that what I believe in has nothing to do with ritual molestation of children, or the torture of any living thing, but I doubt that you'd listen. As every good Satanic schoolchild knows, we're just a bunch of folks who happen to be pretty bright, for the most part, and have certain ideas about things like, oh, say--staying away from the rest of you all. I don't believe that the people who are after you are LaVeyan Satanists, at any rate. I was molested as a child, but it was a pretty basic ordeal. One which I've gotten through fairly well. I can't and won't believe that there is anything going on here more threatening than some people who lead very empty lives, filling in the boring spots by making already unpleasant experiences from their pasts into B-grade horror films. Being molested isn't exactly a bowl of cherries. But why insist on turning it into something so improbable that it borders on the ludicrous? Law-enforcement agencies have strong doubts as to the validity of these types of claims, so why shouldn't I? Anyone can reply if they like, or come to my website.

| Comments: I dont even know where to begin. Its 5 in the morning and I just finished reading your biography. I started at 2 and couldn't stop reading. I don't want to seem rude, but it seemed like I was reading a fiction novel...it seemed too outrageous to be true. But I just found out about something else that I thought was a bit too unreal to believe.
Let me explain. I just learned that a good friend of mine was in jail for being a pedofile. I think that the whole idea is still being processed because its so hard to believe. I don't even want to believe it because hes a friend of mine. He let me read his web site called Out of the Shadows(saved on his hard drive becasue it was removed from Angelfire)which expained a little bit more in depth about what happened and how there is no help available until the offender is caught. I read his guestbook and your name - GhostWolf - is in it. I clicked on your website and ended up here.
Your life story is, to say the least, unfathomable. I can't in my worst nightmares imagine a mere fraction of what you have endured. I respect you for putting your biography on the internet for others to learn from. You are very brave and enduring. I pray you will continue to heal and at the same time grow as time passes.

I to am an incest survivor, and a survivor of later rape as well, your page was hard for me to view, but at the same time reenforced the idea that I am not alone.
I suffered from PTSD because of my incidents of sexual abuse, eventually participating in a lawsuit against the United States Dept of the Army, because of the circumstances of my rape on an military installation. I lost because the judge did not, could not grasp that PTSD is a real condition......
He could not understand that I have blocked out much of the events of the rape, and stated in his closing comments that,
the holes in my memory sound to him to be the result of drug use! He had bifercated? the trial so he never allowed any phychologists or pychiatrist to explain to him the reason for my symptoms...... It is okay, I told the US asst Atorney, that while I may have lost in court, that I had won, because for three years the Army had to think about what had happened, and my case had changed policy on bases around the country, that is what I had wanted really, no amount of money could repair the damage....I do wish they would have admitted their negligence, but in actuality, their actions spoke louder than their words, and those actions admitted their guilt,,,

| Comments: Growing up in Nebraska as a child I was introduced to Souix
and Cheyenne history. Much of what I was told was as you have related, however I was lucky in that my mother who was born in Rawlings Wyoming in 1916 encourged me to learn about Indian culture. During the summers my father and mother would take me into the Dakotas, Wyoming, and Colorado where we visted sites where plains Indians camped, hunted and traveled. Every other summer I go up to Wyoming and Montana and spend time in the mountains alone and reflect on how life must have been for the people of those tribes to be able to live there.
