| Comments: I think this sight is great. I've been wokring on a reasearch project on multiple personality dissorder. I found that many people don't know of dissorders and abuses' there are and i think this sight is a great way of helping people learn what is going on with them. It also lets them know that there is nothing wrong with them and that they aren't the only one's going through it. I found also that there are many people that are embarassed or don't what people to know and i think some of that is because of the lack of information on the subject for the public. People with dissorders or who have been abused in some way are not always accepted in society. I feel that these web pages are helping people learn and accept a person wheather they have a dissorder or not. Many people I have talked to don't understand that this is real and that people suffer drasticly from it. I myslef have never experienced anything like this but i have met a few people who have. I never totally understand their pain but seeing what i saw, talking to them, and reading web pages like this one i have a totally different and more positive perspective on the whole subject. I am a survivor of mental conditioning (not ritualistic), daily physical abuse, and inscest. I do not claim to understand your pain or trauma because it is far greater than mine, however in a small way, I feel I do understand. I want to commend you for having the courage to come out with your story. In my personal experience, I still fear writing about it or saying too much of it. I have had counseling for a little over a year, and was able to speak of it--though it was hard and emotional. The question that lingers in my mind is: How were you able to forgive your own mother for letting this go on and on? these uncomfortable half dreamlike memories from the age of 3-5 or six,
being led to outside, night, circle of people, some women, saw a shoe
and hose, dark robes, white rock in center. Real memory of being in bed
with grandmother, sick to stomach, cant' wake her, try and try. Vomit
on bed, fall asleep. Grand mother freaks about what I throw up, saves
it, shows to my parents, they ask if maybe I doo-dooed. It's black and
tarry with grayish fibery stuff in it. Family accusses me of false memory
syndrome. Several known generations of sexual abuse on both side of family.
Grand father I know is perpetuator. Many nightmares of dead babies, drowning
tan dog, trying to save babies, mauloleums, embalmed bodies, cut up bodies.
Themes of wood and water. Gfather was Church of Christ. Later found out
that pastors son, also pastor at same church, thought that Satan was keeping
his wife from having his child, this child would be son of God. Wife left
pastor and told my mother story several years ago. question, if the church
was involved, is there some place where persons report this stuff to see
if others have similar stories. I know the name of the church, but don't
know if CHurch was a cover for ritual practices, or just a coincidence
and my gfather, and several others from the town took part in this, I
feel strongly that a funeral home director was in on it from my dreams.
Abuse from him stopped when my grandmother died at age 8, he was put in
nursing home. we moved at age 6 to town farther away so I feel that he
didn't have access to me past 5 or 6. How do I find if church had a history
of problems?? Thank you for all your sharing, caring.
