Wood Working

In 1985, my son Shane needed a table for schoolwork. There wasn't much room for a table, but one corner of the room had nothing in it. I had a large slab of scrap pine plus a lot of scrap oak; problem solved. Shane and I built this in one evening, dadoing and dowling each joint, then gluing and clamping it together. We let it sit for two days, then we both climbed on top of it to test its strength - nearly 300 pounds total. That was 21 years ago, and he still has it.
Yes, that is a working Atari on top of the television, and the cartridges are Frostbite and Yar's Revenge. Shane has quite a few more cartidges including Tank and Missile Attack.
