Twilight
Night comes gently, tucking tired earth into soothing folds of darkness, leaving quiet and solitude in place of the bustle of day... Settling back, softly playing music for those awake, crickets and bullfrogs join in pine-scented melody to serenade night and earth... A mellow lantern suspended in the sky casting amber glow to reveal fawn and doe gliding through the meadow... A meteor shower sparkles down-- night has smiled, all is well... August 12, 1972
